ABOUT US
Prestige Cabinet: Italian Contemporary Kitchens on Aliso Creek Road
Prestige Cabinet designs, manufactures, and installs luxury cabinetry for kitchens, closets, and living spaces throughout Orange County. Every cabinet is made in Italy, designed in California, fitted with German-engineered hardware, and backed by up to 5 years warranty. Our modern kitchen showroom in Laguna Niguel, at 23811 Aliso Creek Rd, Unit 160, is one of our two Orange County locations, alongside our showroom in Santa Ana.
The showroom exists for one reason: modern kitchens have to be experienced to be understood. Even the best photos cannot show how a drawer glides under load, how a matte finish feels under your hand, or how a handleless channel fits your grip. Here, you can test all of it with a designer beside you who knows South County homes, from hillside view properties to family neighborhoods and coastal communities. Every visit, however long, ends with clear next steps, whether you are ready to design or still gathering ideas. Beyond kitchens, the showroom also gives you a look at how Prestige Cabinet approaches closets and living spaces, so you can start thinking about a consistent design for your whole home.
Why Prestige Cabinet
Why South County Homeowners Visit Our Contemporary Kitchen Showroom
A modern kitchen is a significant investment, and the details that matter most are the ones you cannot judge from a screen. Here is why homeowners start their project at the modern kitchen showroom in Laguna Niguel before making any decisions.
Real Kitchens, Not Just Samples
Our displays are complete, full-size kitchen vignettes rather than isolated door samples on a wall, so you can see how door styles, finishes, countertops, and lighting work together at full scale. That makes it much easier to picture the finished room in your own home than looking at small samples or photos. You can stand at an island, open a pantry, and move between work zones to get a feel for proportions and clearances that simply do not come across in pictures.
Designers Who Specialize in Modern Design
Our designers work with contemporary Italian cabinetry every day. They can explain the trade-offs between finishes, suggest storage ideas for how you cook, and translate your inspiration photos into a practical plan. When you are ready, they create a detailed 3D rendering of your kitchen, so you can see your new layout, finishes, and lighting together and refine them before anything is ordered.
Quality You Can Verify
Every cabinet is manufactured in Italy by specialists in contemporary kitchens, and materials meet CARB and EPA TSCA Title VI formaldehyde emission standards for composite wood. At the showroom, you do not have to take our word for the quality. Open the drawers, inspect the edges, and compare for yourself. Our designers are happy to show you how the cabinet boxes are built and explain what sets Italian manufacturing apart.
Five Things to Test at Our Modern Kitchen Showroom
A showroom visit is most valuable when you know what to look for. Instead of simply browsing, use your time to compare how different options perform, not just how they look. Here are five tests our designers encourage every visitor to try:
- The load test: open a deep drawer filled with heavy pots and feel how smoothly it glides and how gently it closes.
- The reveal check: look along a run of doors and notice how straight and consistent the gaps are.
- The touch test: run your hand over matte, textured, and high-gloss finishes to feel the difference.
- The grip test: try handleless channels, slim pulls, and push-to-open doors to find what feels natural.
- The light test: compare finish samples near the windows and under interior lighting.
These simple checks reveal more about cabinet quality than any brochure, and they take only a few minutes. They also help you narrow your choices quickly, so your design conversation can focus on what matters most to you. Bring a family member or anyone else who shares the kitchen, because the person who cooks most and the person who cleans up most often notice different things. Taking photos and notes during your visit also makes it easier to compare options later at home.
See Today's Modern Kitchen Styles in Person
Modern kitchens have evolved beyond cold minimalism. Today’s contemporary designs balance clean lines with warmth, texture, and personality. At our Laguna Niguel showroom, you can compare the contemporary looks South County homeowners ask about most:
- Flat-panel slab kitchens with smooth, uninterrupted fronts.
- Handleless kitchens with integrated channels and push-to-open doors.
- Warm modern designs that pair clean lines with wood veneer cabinets.
- Two-tone modern kitchens that combine a wood island with a lacquered or matte perimeter.
- Integrated appliance walls where refrigerators and ovens disappear behind matching panels.
Seeing these styles side by side helps you discover what you actually like, which is often different from what you expected. Many visitors arrive certain they want an all-white kitchen and leave inspired by warm wood, a soft matte color, or a bold two-tone combination they had never considered. Your designer can show you how any of these looks, or a combination of them, can be adapted to your home’s architecture, light, and layout. If you already have a favorite countertop, tile, or flooring sample, bring it along, and we will place it next to cabinet finishes so you can see the full palette together. Small changes in tone or texture can completely change the feel of a room, and the showroom is the easiest place to see those differences.
Local Designers Who Know South Orange County Homes
Our showroom designers work with homeowners across South County every day, so they understand the homes, the light, and the lifestyle. They also know the questions that come up during real projects, from appliance clearances to HOA delivery rules, and plan for them early. That local knowledge shapes every recommendation:
- Coastal light: bright Southern California sun changes how finishes read, so we help you choose colors that look right throughout the day.
- Indoor-outdoor living: kitchens that open to patios and view decks need storage and finishes that suit entertaining.
- Planned communities: many South County neighborhoods have HOA rules for deliveries and work hours, and we plan around them.
- Varied architecture: from Mediterranean and Spanish-style homes to contemporary builds, we tailor modern cabinetry to suit the house.
After your visit, the same designer can measure your home, refine your 3D rendering, and coordinate manufacturing, delivery, and professional installation, so your project stays in trusted hands from start to finish. Every cabinet is backed by up to 5 years warranty, and because the showroom is close by, follow-up meetings, finish reviews, and questions after installation are easy to handle.

Modern Kitchen Showroom in Laguna Niguel: Frequently Asked Questions
Which cities is the Laguna Niguel showroom convenient for?
Our Laguna Niguel showroom is the most convenient Prestige Cabinet location for much of South Orange County, including Laguna Niguel, Aliso Viejo, Mission Viejo, Laguna Hills, Dana Point, Laguna Beach, San Juan Capistrano, San Clemente, and Rancho Santa Margarita. Homeowners in central and north Orange County may find our Santa Ana showroom at 650 S Grand Ave, Santa Ana, CA 92705, closer. Both showrooms offer free design consultations, so choose whichever location is easiest for you. Wherever you visit, our team measures and installs at your home.
What are the showroom hours?
Current hours are listed on our contact page and Google Business Profile. We recommend booking an appointment so a designer can reserve dedicated time for you, especially if you would like a full design consultation. If you need a time outside regular hours, ask when you book, and we will do our best to accommodate you. Letting us know about your project when you book also helps your designer prepare ideas and samples before you arrive.
How long should I plan for a showroom visit?
A quick browse can take less than an hour, but a full design consultation usually takes longer, because your designer will review your layout, discuss storage and style, and walk you through finishes and hardware. If you would like to leave with a clear direction, plan for an unhurried visit and bring photos, measurements, and inspiration images. Booking ahead ensures a designer is available to spend the full time with you, and you are always welcome to come back as your plans develop.
Can I see handleless and integrated-appliance kitchens working in person?
Yes. Our displays let you try handleless channels, push-to-open doors, and panel-ready appliance fronts, so you can see how they look and feel in everyday use, from opening a pantry with full hands to closing a drawer with your hip. Testing them in person is the best way to decide whether a fully handleless design suits your household or whether a mix of pulls and channels is more practical. You can also see how integrated lighting, tall pantry units, and appliance garages help keep a modern kitchen calm and uncluttered.
Can I take finish samples home?
Ask your designer during your visit, and let them know which finishes you are considering. Seeing a finish in your own home, next to your flooring, countertops, and wall color, and in your own natural light, is one of the best ways to make a confident choice. Your designer can advise which samples are available to take home and help you narrow your shortlist first, so you are comparing only the finishes that truly suit your space. Look at each sample in the morning, afternoon, and evening, since the same color can read warmer or cooler as the light changes throughout the day.
